We are proud to announce that our very own, Rudra Tiwari from Class 12 A has made a mark at the global forum at the young age of 16. This a proud moment both for Doon International School as well as the country since Rudra was the youngest Indian to present his paper at the esteemed International Conference on Data Analytics and Management (ICDAM), 2023. The Conference was held on 23-24th June, 2023 in London, U.K. The theme of the conference was, Data Analytics with Computer Networks. . Rudra virtually presented his paper, titled, ‘Sentiment Analysis using Machine Learning of Unemployment Data in India’. We congratulate Rudra on this remarkable achievement. He is the youngest researcher to have ever presented at ICDAM. Despite an acceptance rate of just 18%, our young prodigy through his sheer hard work and genius, is one of the few individuals whose research paper has been selected for paper publication. Rudra states that he wrote his research paper to showcase the application of NLP techniques, specifically opinion mining in analyzing social media data. Per Rudra, he chose the said topic in order to provide valuable insights on the socio-economic issue of unemployment in the country. Further, Rudra intends to assist policymakers and the government in identifying areas that require modifications and addressing the concerns of the population effectively. . We have no doubt that Rudra shall realize his dream of working on public policy and wish him all the best for his future endeavours.
